Last post, October 4th of 2006? Wow. But I can't say I blame myself. I've learned to like deviantART much more, just because yes - there's rambling and whining on there, too, but at least things get done. Art is being made, wallpapers manufactured, cons photographed (lol). No one dwells on the emo journals, you just move on and look at someone else's WinAmp skins.
I'll leave this entry unlocked, in case people come snooping around and want to know what I've been up to.
(odds of this 1:300,000)
I've been accepted to a study abroad program in Ferrara, and so far have won $3,000 in scholarships. Now I only have to make up $6,000 in loans, LOL.
Everyone in the French and Italian department loves me to death (no idea why - the idea embarrasses me so much). Four of my teachers/coworkers conspired to give me the largest departmental scholarship at a recent meeting. Shhh, I'm not supposed to know about it until next week. And I have no idea how to feign surprise. D:
My advisor gets annoyed at me a lot.
I swear she didn't tell me that doubling up on Italian classes would screw with my study abroad schedule. I swear she did not say this.
I work at the department 12 hours a week as an assistant secretary (assistant to an assistant - how ironic), and will be working there 20 hours a week this summer.
Let's see, how random can this get?
Chris is coming out to visit in June (YAY!), and I'm going to visit my Ramstein friends for the 5th movie and 7th book releases this July (w00t!).
I will be finally moving out and into my own (single) apartment in early May (possibly late April).
I might have a crush on my art history professor. I'm still thinking that one out. We aren't even alike, really. I have no clue how this crush/thing came about.
I have an iPod. I listen to MuggleCast faithfully.
I'm drowning in CIEE paperwork.
I got friendly messages several times from Erin, but ignored them. Still don't know when I'm going to write her back.
Steffie messaged me on MySpace. Still don't know when I'm going to write her, either.
I'm going to stop now. LiveJournal entries bring backbad emo a lot of memories.
